A box that feels light undercuts an expensive piece here. Rigid construction with a weighted lid is the expectation, not the exception.
Heat
Sustained high temperature affects adhesives, foils and untreated hide. Leatherette and rigid board are the most stable; we will say where a hide finish is a risk.
