What is a velvet watch box?
A watch box seats a timepiece on a fitted pillow so the dial faces up and the strap keeps its shape. It protects the watch in transit and on the shelf, and for many brands the box is a core part of how the watch is presented and gifted.
A velvet watch box finishes that box in velvet: Velvet is the material jewellers reach for when a piece needs to feel precious. Its deep, soft pile catches the light and cushions the piece, and it is the finish most customers instinctively read as 'fine jewellery'. We line and wrap in velvet in the colour you choose, from classic wine and midnight to soft neutrals.
Why velvet for watch boxes
Velvet is the material jewellers reach for when a piece needs to feel precious. Its deep, soft pile catches the light and cushions the piece, and it is the finish most customers instinctively read as 'fine jewellery'. We line and wrap in velvet in the colour you choose, from classic wine and midnight to soft neutrals.
Velvet shows colour beautifully but marks if handled roughly, so we pair it with a firm rigid or wooden shell for structure.
Inside, we fit a fitted watch pillow that seats the watch and holds the strap in shape, cut to the exact dimensions of the watch you sell so it sits securely and presents well.
Made to your brand
Every box is built to your brief: your size, your lining, your colour, your logo. We hot-stamp, deboss or blind-emboss your logo, match the lining to your brand, and cut the insert to your watch. You approve a physical sample before bulk — and the bulk order matches the sample you approve, with no minimum forcing you to over-order.
How ordering works
You send the piece size, materials, colours, logo artwork and target quantity. We make a sample (usually within about 7–10 days), you approve a pre-production sample, then production runs about 20–30 days. We quote one clear, all-in price up front — no surprises on arrival.
