Metal Counter Mirrors

Counter mirrors in metal, made to your dimensions and your colours. A metal-framed mirror is the thinnest frame available and it is what a minimal counter usually wants. Brushed finishes hide fingerprints; polished ones do not.

What it does

A counter mirror is the piece of display furniture that closes a sale. A customer who can see a piece on themselves is a different customer from one holding it.

Metal on a counter mirror, specifically

A metal-framed mirror is the thinnest frame available and it is what a minimal counter usually wants. Brushed finishes hide fingerprints; polished ones do not.

Getting the proportion right

Height and angle decide whether it works. Too low and the customer stoops; too upright and they see the ceiling. A mirror on a counter is set for someone seated or standing at that counter, not for a general height.

How metal display is made

Metal display is formed and plated or powder-coated rather than covered. The finish is decided at the plating stage and cannot be adjusted afterwards, so the sample matters more here than on any wrapped material.

Where it is used

Any counter where earrings, necklaces or rings are tried.

Metal under case lighting

A polished metal display throws hard reflections and will bounce a spot straight back at the customer. Brushed and matt finishes are the usual specification in a lit case; polish belongs in a window where the light is controlled.

The mistake to avoid

A mirror finished in the same material as the boxes ties the counter together. A generic mirror from a shopfitter does not.

Why metal

Metal display — brass, gold finish, black or silver — gives the thinnest possible support. A metal stand almost disappears, which is the point: the piece appears to float.

Wipe with a dry cloth. A brushed finish hides handling better than a polished one.

Frequently asked questions

Can counter mirrors be made in our brand colour?

Yes — the metal is matched to a Pantone reference or a physical swatch, and confirmed on a sample.

What sizes do counter mirrors come in?

They are made to your dimensions. Height and angle decide whether it works. Too low and the customer stoops; too upright and they see the ceiling. A mirror on a counter is set for someone seated or standing at that counter, not for a general height.

Is metal a good choice for a counter mirror?

A metal-framed mirror is the thinnest frame available and it is what a minimal counter usually wants. Brushed finishes hide fingerprints; polished ones do not.

What goes wrong most often with counter mirrors?

A mirror finished in the same material as the boxes ties the counter together. A generic mirror from a shopfitter does not.

Can counter mirrors be made to match our boxes?

Yes — the same metal and the same colour across boxes and display, ordered in one run.
