Sienna Suede Earring Box

A pair of earrings presented in the Sienna Suede series — microfibre suede, made to your dimensions, your colour and your logo. A warm tan reads as gold-adjacent without competing with the metal. It flatters yellow gold and rose gold, and it is one of the few neutrals that does not make a diamond look cold. Counters that sell a lot of 18k gold tend to land here.

What a earring boxe has to do

An earring box holds a pair level with each other so they read as a pair. Studs sit in punched holes with the posts passing through; drops hang from a slit or a bar so the piece is presented the way it is worn.

Why Sienna Suede

Tan sits closest to yellow and rose gold on the colour wheel, so the metal reads as continuous with the box rather than set against it. On white metal the effect reverses — platinum against tan looks colder than it does against a grey or navy lining.

Getting the interior right

Studs and drops need different interiors. A stud card will not hold a drop, and a hanging bar leaves a stud floating. Where one box covers both, the interior is a combined pad with holes and a slit.

Where it belongs

Counters weighted to 18k and 22k gold. It is also the neutral most often chosen by jewellers selling into the Gulf, where yellow gold dominates.

The mistake to avoid

Butterfly backs and screw backs take different amounts of room behind the card. If your range uses screw backs, say so — the pad has to be deeper.

Worth knowing before you commit

A warm tan shows dust more than a mid grey does. On an open display that is restocked weekly it is not an issue; in a window that is dressed once a season, it is worth knowing.

Microfibre suede

Microfibre suede is a woven synthetic with a short, dense nap. It has the hand of real suede without the shading and water-marking that real suede brings, and it does not shed onto a polished piece.

Frequently asked questions

Can the Sienna Suede series be made in a different colour?

Yes. The colour shown is the standard for the series; exterior, lining and stitching are all specified per order. Send a Pantone reference or a swatch and we match to it, then confirm on a sample.

What logo methods suit microfibre suede?

Suede takes a hot-stamped or blind-debossed logo cleanly, because the nap compresses and holds the impression. Fine serifs need a slightly heavier die than they would on board, or the nap springs back and softens the edge.

What do you need to make a earring boxe?

Whether the box is for studs, drops or both; the drop length if applicable; and the back type.

Can I see it before ordering?

Yes. A physical pre-production sample is made to your specification and the bulk run is held to the sample you approve.
