Chung Ngai at an international jewellery fair
The Maison

Same family. Same craft.
Since 1971.

Black suede jewelry boxes with gold trim by Chung Ngai
Origins

A workshop,
not a factory floor.

Chung Ngai began in 1971 as a small workshop making jewelry presentation boxes by hand. Two generations later, we are still deliberately small — every order passes through the maker's hands.

For decades we made OEM packaging and displays for overseas brands, exhibiting at international jewellery fairs in Hong Kong and beyond. Today we work directly with the people we always made things for: independent jewelers who care what their packaging says about them.

Conviction

Small on purpose.

We never became a giant factory. Giants need giant orders — ten thousand pieces, take it or leave it. We would rather make eight hundred beautiful boxes for one boutique than a million generic ones for nobody in particular.

That is why our minimums stay low, our materials stay honest, and our replies come from the workshop itself.
