Ivory Suede Jewellery Boxes

Ivory suede boxes, made to your dimensions and your logo. Ivory suede is repeatable, even and safer against pearls than velvet because the fibre is finer. For a pearl-led range it is the fabric we would propose.

Ivory in suede, specifically

Ivory suede is repeatable, even and safer against pearls than velvet because the fibre is finer. For a pearl-led range it is the fabric we would propose.

What ivory does for the piece

Ivory is what white should have been — the same lightness, but repeatable across materials and across reorders in a way a true white is not. It is the traditional ground for pearls.

What ivory shows

Less than white, because there is less contrast. It yellows with age rather than looking dirty, which is a slower and more forgiving way to wear out.

Which metals and stones ivory suits

Pearls above all, then bridal, antique and estate pieces that a bright white would make look new.

Why microfibre suede

Microfibre suede is a woven synthetic with a short, dense nap. It has the hand of real suede without the shading and water-marking that real suede brings, and it does not shed onto a polished piece.

Putting your logo on microfibre suede

Suede takes a hot-stamped or blind-debossed logo cleanly, because the nap compresses and holds the impression. Fine serifs need a slightly heavier die than they would on board, or the nap springs back and softens the edge.

Cutting the interior in microfibre suede

Inserts are cut a fraction under size on each face; the pile closes the gap and grips the piece without a visible squeeze.

Brush with the nap, never against it. Marks from a fingernail lift with a soft brush. It does not craze or crack with age.
